We love climbing and want to share our passion with you.
The Valley Rock Gym will grow in two phases.
Phase I is complete and houses over 8,000 sq ft of climbing terrain including:
Two youth climbing areas
5 20 ft auto belays
Climbing training zones
Locker rooms with showers, family bathrooms, gender neutral bathroom with shower
Cafe featuring smoothies and fresh local foods
Phase II will involve a building expansion that will house an additional 8,000 - 10,000 sq. ft. of top rope climbing, lead climbing and a 15 meter Olympic speed climbing wall.
Community is what drives us...... With community comes joy, friendship, empowerment and change. Corvallis is an amazing community and we are excited to cultivate a space where people can connect, socialize, learn, share knowledge, inspire one another and hopefully adventure together. Our resource library will inspire you and your friends to get outside and our outdoor education and wilderness first aid courses will give you the information and skills you need to explore the outdoors responsibly and confidently.
Instruction, fun, challenge, success, failure, laughter, frustration and joy. There’s a lot to learn in climbing. Our experienced instructors will introduce you to climbing, the facility and help you progress and learn!
No matter what your experience level is, there will be a class for you. From climbing movement to mental training to technical skills, you can expect classes to be informative, engaging and motivating.
If you have a family, you're in luck as well. Our youth programs will run throughout the week. And if your child is eager for something more challenging, they can join the youth climbing team.
We value health and well-being. When it comes to climbing, this involves training smart and eating healthy. Our gym will have a yoga and fitness studio where you can warm up, cool down, get stronger, increase your flexibility and reach your fitness goals. We will offer a variety of yoga and fitness classes throughout the week.
Our gym will also house a new eatery, Ants on a Log Cafe, which will serve soups, salads, smoothies, snacks and more for your pre- and post-workout fuel. The cafe aims to source the majority of its food from local farms. Stay tuned for nutrition class offerings for those who are eager to learn more about the importance of what we put in our body.
