Reserve your spot in a climbing class below. Please note that this reservation secures your spot but does not include payment. For non-members, payment for the class/gym entry is required separately upon arrival, either through a day pass purchase or punch card usage.
These classes are complementary for those who are members!
In this Intro to Bouldering class you will learn about hold types, falling technique, how to get yourself through a climb, climbing etiquette, the VRG grading scale and other fundamental techniques to help you become comfortable with bouldering.
You should take this class if you:
• have never climbed before
• are very new to climbing
Every Wednesday from 5:30-6:15pm (except for every 4th Wednesday)
This class is designed to introduce basic climbing techniques, movement patterns, and tactics that will support efficiency, confidence, and resourcefulness on the wall.
You should take this class if:
You are working on Green – Red Tagged climbs (V1-V4)
Every 2nd Thursday from 5:30-6:30
Bouldering Two focuses on complex climbing movements and techniques. This class will leave climbers with a more dense set of tools and strategies to apply to their climbing projects.
You should take this class if:
You are working on Blue-Orange Tagged climbs (V3-V6)
Every 3rd Thursday from 5:30-6:30
Bouldering Three focuses on training strategies for climbing. This class will include strategies that apply to both the long-term and short-term approaches to gaining strength, efficiency, power, endurance, and mental focus on the wall.
You should take this class if:
You are working on Purple+ tags (V5-V7+)
Every 4th Thursday from 5:30-6:30
30- 45 minute class to get people started on the track to auto-belay certification. Class will cover the basics of putting on and adjusting a harness correctly. It will also cover how to properly and safely use an auto-belay and all of the associated equipment. After the class the attendees will have the opportunity to test their skills and get certified in auto-belay use .
Kids between the ages of 4 and 13 can get auto-belay certified but they must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who also plans on taking the class and getting certified. Kids 4 -13 can only get clipped and out of the auto belays by a certified parent/guardian.
The minimum age for auto-belay use is 4 years old.
