Our 4 Pillars

CLIMBING

At the heart of everything we do is a deep passion for climbing, and we want to share that love with everyone who steps through our doors. Valley Rock Gym offers over 8,000 square feet of diverse climbing terrain that caters to all skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned climber or just starting out, our facility provides something for everyone:


  • Two youth climbing areas for young climbers to build skills in a fun, safe environment.
  • Four 20-foot auto belays, perfect for climbers who want to practice without a partner.
  • Climbing training zones designed to help you improve your technique, strength, and power.
  • Party room available for celebrations, team-building events, and more.
  • Fitness area complete with weight racks, free weights and machines to get your sweat on!
  • Yoga studio for yoga & fitness classes as well as an open studio for stretching, mobility and cross training.
  • Locker rooms with showers, family bathrooms, and a gender-neutral bathroom with shower to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome.
  • Ants on a Log Café, where they serve fresh, locally sourced smoothies and foods to fuel your climb session or recover from a hard workout.

COMMUNITY

Community is the foundation of Valley Rock Gym. With community comes joy, friendship, empowerment and change. We aim to cultivate a thriving community of lifelong climbers who not only work towards their own climbing goals, but also elevate one another through shared experiences and mutual growth. In addition, our clubs and climb nights aim to create a space for people to come together to connect and socialize, inspire and empower, and to learn and grow within a supportive network. 

EDUCATION

Climbing is not just a physical challenge—it's a mental, emotional, and educational journey.  At Valley Rock Gym, we believe in lifelong learning and offer a variety of classes designed to meet the needs of all climbers, from absolute beginners to seasoned experts. We offer instruction and comprehensive climbing classes for all ages and skill levels, ensuring that everyone feels confident in their ability to learn and progress wherever they are at in their journey. Our Seminars and workshops give people the opportunity to delve deeper into specific climbing topics such as setting and climbing training. Our Year-round youth programs and climbing teams  inspire and empower our young athletes to develop into strong, self-confident, and passionate climbers and teammates. At the end of the day, we hope you find our gym to be an engaging and motivating learning environment where success, challenge, failure, and joy are all part of the process.

WELLNESS

 

At Valley Rock Gym, we value health and well-being in all aspects of life. We offer resources that encourage balanced living, promote healthy habits, and nurture mindfulness to support both your physical and mental well-being.


Yoga and fitness classes: Our yoga and fitness studio offers a wide range of classes throughout the week. From powerful flows that build strength and flexibility to grounding sessions designed to help you reset and recenter after a hectic day, our classes are aimed at providing both physical conditioning and mental rejuvenation.


Workshops and seminars: We host specialized workshops throughout the year that delve into topics like injury prevention, mobility enhancement, and overall wellness. These sessions equip you with practical tools and knowledge to stay healthy, improve performance, and avoid burnout.


Ants on a Log Café: Nourish your body with organic, locally sourced food at Ants on a Log café . Whether you're looking for a quick pre-workout snack, a post-climb smoothie, or a wholesome meal, this café offers fresh, seasonal options sourced from local farms to keep you fueled and energized.

We are preparing for Rally in the Valley this week!

 

As such, we will have some adjusted hours this week!


The whole gym will close at 6pm on Wed May 14th 

The upstairs climbing areas will be closed ALL day Thursday (5/15) and Friday (5/16)! The downstairs will be open for non-competitors. 


We will be closed Saturday for our community competition
