These workshops will use massage balls to release tension and tightness throughout your body’s myofascial system. Myofascial release is a technique that uses self massage and gentle stretching to unwind tension, improve range of motion and reduce stress. You can expect to leave this workshop with a new understanding of the myofascial system, with new ways to use self massage to your benefit, and feeling a deep sense of relaxation.
Friday April 11th 6:45-8:00pm: Upper Body Myofascial Release
Friday May 9th 6:45-8:00pm: Lower Body Myofascial Release
Registration for both is encouraged but not required.

We all need a moment to unwind, turn inward, and heal. Restorative yoga is a self-care practice that is said to improve pain, sleep, immune function, and stress management. We will spend our time moving slowly into long held, supported postures, ending class with a crystal singing bowl meditation. From the merely curious to the advanced practitioner, this class is for anyone looking to de-stress, recover, rest, or even make time for contemplation.
Dress warm and/or bring an extra blanket as our bodies will feel colder as we acclimate to stillness.
