Participants who are in the younger camp from 9am-12pm will need to bring a snack, a water bottle and comfy clothes to climb in.
Participants who are in the older camp from 9am-2pm will need to bring lunch, snacks, a water bottle, and comfy clothes to climb in.
For both camps, children are welcome to bring their own climbing equipment if they have it, but shoes, harnesses, and chalk will be provided to participants free of charge if they do not.
Participants who are attending the older camp will need to bring their own lunches to our summer camps.
For both camps, we recommend that participants bring snacks to refuel outside of our scheduled lunch break.
Depending on weather, we will have children either eating outside in our courtyard space facing Jefferson Ave, or in our downstairs youth party room with appropriate and safe social distancing measures in place.
Our camps have a minimum capacity of 4 participants and a maximum capacity of 12 participants. We are operating with a protocol of pairing 1 instructor to every 6 children.
While our camps will be largely focused on learning new climbing skills, we will break up our climbing times with stretching and other movement based games and activities. We will also have drawing and other crafts available if kids need a break from climbing.
Children will not be permitted to leave the building unless signed out by a parent, or when having lunch outside in our courtyard space accompanied by our youth instructors.
Parents are more than welcome to stay for our sessions or drop your kids off with us. If you are dropping your child off, we just need a parent signature to sign them in and out of our facility at our front desk. If you have a special circumstance involving a child showing up without a parent or guardian, we will need parents to sign a form with our front desk allowing us to accept and release participants without a guardian present (for all participants under 14).
