USAC comp 2023 in the books!
The success of Saturday's competition was a result of the incredible teamwork and dedication of so many individuals. We're deeply thankful for everyone’s contributions to our climbing community, and we can't wait to see what the future holds.
Huge shout out to our Setting Team: Their creativity, attentiveness, collaboration, and hard work were the foundation of this amazing competition. Each boulder is a work of art and we hope you all enjoy them as much as we did!
Big thanks to our Volunteer Judges from OSU, WOU, the community and our Region 12 coordinators! We couldn't have had a comp that ran smoothly and fairly without their support and attention to detail!
Shout out to all the athletes! Whether these kids are flashing routes or struggling to get the zone, it’s amazing to see the next generation of climbers push themselves with grit and grace; all the while supporting their competitors with respect and sportsmanship!
Lastly, we're grateful to all the Coaches who are nurturing young athletes, instilling confidence, and teaching them the joy of climbing! Their ability to inspire and guide these young kids through the highs and lows of competition climbing with grace and compassion is a beautiful thing to witness.
